Our Story

Born out of our love of fine wines and delicious food, Off The Vine has become the premiere location for fine wines and gourmet dining in Downtown San Pedro. After extensively traveling California's many wine regions and sampling a multitude of wines, we decided to open up our own shoppe and pass along our passion for fine wine and gourmet foods to San Pedro.

Over the last 8 plus years Off The Vine has changed considerably. We first opened up as a wine shoppe and tasting room specializing in wines from California's Central Coast, Spain and the Rhone Valley of France. We have changed our model considerably since then, adding not only gourmet foods but wines from around the world as well as a great selection of Craft Beers.

Our creative chef, Alison, is incredibly gifted at putting textures and flavors together and has taken our small kitchen to new culinary heights adding a touch of home. Michael, our wine buyer, is currently working on becoming a Certified Sommelier and passed his Level 1 course with flying colors He will take his Certified Sommelier exam in June of 2016. 

When you come into Off The Vine you will feel the passion for both wine and food. Michael and Alison wouldn't have it any other way!!
